What's wrong with our education system ?

1.
This old teacher believes that the "system is broken because it keeps poor children poor". There is a "culture of excuses", as she says, in the UK's education system where children don't feel they are responsible of their exam success. So, they fail because everybody excuses them for their bad behavior at school.

According to her, this problem exist because there is "culture of excuses". They always find excuses for the bad behavior of pupils ... But for Katherine Birbalsingh, this is not helpful for pupils success because it shifts the problem to considerate that they are responsible of themselves.

About this problem, the government ministers share the point of view of Katherine Birbalsingh but they say they did have to try to support teachers for not going in the "culture of excuses". So the government is not to blame for the condition. They need dedicated teachers with natural authority even if this good teachers can leave the system because of the children bad behavior.

To improve the system, Katherine think they have to change this culture of excuses, which come from many years. Both of pupils and staff have to be responsible of what they do. She says at the beginning that they have to bring competition between classrooms with bench marking and individual exam, so children can be allowed to fail.

If she were given a choice to make changes in the UK's education system, she would trust in teacher and headteacher more : give them more freedom about discipline. According to her, they are professionals who know their job and are be able to decide the exclusion of a pupil : "It requires a culture of exclusion". And looking  exams, to be honest, its become easier ever year. So she would come back to an acceptable level ; "we need to success" she says.


In France, the educational system is to be transformed. So, there are several negative points.
In first, there is a problem with the teachers. They are lacking authority, pedagogy... Because of that, the children are lacking knowledge, values as the respect, the work ... In more, the teachers are lacking formation. 

There is also an evolution of the pupils, who become more and more mature early, there are conflicts between the teacher and the pupil. The children do not take any more seriously the school, they think of getting on in life by making nothing!

To change this system, the teachers would have to do training courses much more targeted at their job and they have to manage to give of the motivation to the children. 

The children would also have to become aware that the school is important for their future.

The exam ... help !

Mr Bean go to an exam. At the beginning, he wants to take exam quickly : he drives fast. He has some little accidents. He looks stressed because he verifies his car, he dressed correctly ... When he puts in his seat, and he speaks with his neighbor. He tries to intimidate him with his pens, objects ... He revised and feels confident for the exam.
During the exam, when Mr Bean opens the envelope and sees subject, he is scared ! He doesn't know answers ! For make a success, he tries to look on his neighbor by a lot of means ... He pretends to think when others see him. The cheating doesn't work ! He cries but time passes ... 
Two minuts after the end, the supervisor says that there are two subjects. Mr Bean panics and he rushes to make the second subject, which he knows answers. But, he doesn't have time.

Oh my god !


Before an examination, especially in the oral, I am very stressed. My legs begin trembling, I don't speak because my voice is trembling and deformed, I don't remember of my revisions and I am afraid of questions which are going to be put.
When I see the subject 
- If I know the answers, everything is well, I write and I am satisfied by my work. In general, I make success.
   - If I don't know the answers, I panic, I block and I can't think any more ! As I don't like cheating, I can't do nothing to find the answers.

Peaceful life's introduction

Natacha is very happy

Since twenty years, she lives in Haute-Savoie, where she has all her family. This place is beautiful,  with montains, lakes, meadows ... Natacha's family was strange for some, but in reality, it's very enriching. She lives with his brother and her sister, her mother and 
her ... grand mother. 
She comes to Grenoble the week, for the studies. Week ends, she plays football and she has fun a lot !

She likes laughing =)
